Lieutenant Brent Miller arrived in the Middle East with one objective — get seven hostages out of a hostile country. The plan almost worked. But now he has been left behind — with one of the hostages. It's up to Brent to get Amy Whitmore, an LDS Senator's daughter, across miles of desert to safety. What he doesn't know is that to survive, he needs her as much as she needs him.

Freefall eBook Traci Hunter Abramson

I really enjoyed this book! It was awesome! It starts out with Amy being taken hostage with several other people in the Middle East. She should have listened to her family when the told her not to go, but Amy is pretty stubborn and doesn't like to be told what to do (a quality I loved about her). So the Saint Squad is called into to help rescue the hostages, but things go from bad to worse and Amy and Lieutenant Miller get left behind, so now they have to find away to get out of this country to safety.

Along this journey Amy and Brent start to form a very close relationship, and attraction to one another. Neither one is really sure if it's because of the situation, or is it their actual feelings involved until the are finally rescued. Once the get out of their current situation they have to help out with another bad situation while Amy decides what to do with her life, and Brent is trying to decide if he should keep up his relationship with Amy knowing his job isn't very safe.

This book has lots and lots of action, and a sweet romance. It also has a little bit of religion in it, not enough that the whole book was about the religion but just a little bit, like the characters praying and things like that. It didn't get on my nerves or anything when it came to that so that made the book all the more enjoyable. I was seriously captivated by all of the action, and suspense going on around the main characters. And I can not wait to read more. I very much enjoyed this book! :)

Freefall eBook Traci Hunter Abramson Reviews

The title Freefall, doesn't match the plot of the book, although it works okay. This is a love story from the beginning, with intrigue as one reads, and has an expected ending.
This story had me hooked from start to finish. My friend Diana Recommended this book to me and oh boy I am so glad she did!! I loved how there was such a great adventure, romance, fighting for what you want and believe in and solving problems all tied up in one! So many great characters, including such a great storyline!!! I loved the end. I couldn't have asked for a better ending! Highly recommend this book!!!
The first third of the book was great! However I'd like to know the reality/probability of the rest. Do Navy SEALS really fly fighter planes, specifically F-14's? Do the SEALS gather terrorist information and catch terrorists on US soil? I thought that would be the job of Homeland Security or CIA or maybe even the FBI. Maybe I'm a little naive but I thought the SEALS operated mostly out of the US. I just don't see a team of SEALS sitting around computers gathering intelligence information. If I'm incorrect at what a SEAL does ignore this post. If I am correct the author needs to do a lot more research. I've started reading book 2 of the series, Lockdown, it has started out just as improbable as book 1. Other than the improbability of what Navy SEALS really do, the book was a cute light read. The book was recommend to me someone who knew I liked to read books without sex scenes.
I love this book and author. It's fun action and romance without being explicit in either. I love being able to sit down and relax with a book without worrying that there will be objectionable material. This book has a fun and exciting storyline and believable characters. It's just a good, clean, fun book.
Freefall by Traci Hunter Abramson is another fabulous book by this author. This time the author introduces us to an all LDS Navy Seal team. Each of the books in this series will focus on a particular member of the seal team and will also include little side stories to catch us up on other favorite characters. This book focuses on Lt. Brent Miller and Amy Whitmore.
Our author takes us on a face paced - thrill ride that is full of suspense and a little clean romance. I love her writing style. On a side note if you remember Matt and C.J. Whitmore we get to catch up a little with them in this book. I love this author and have shared her work with others who love it as well.
Her stories are sharp , engaging, and exciting. Freefall is no different. I enjoy Traci Abramson's variety of titles. Freefall is tightly woven and the storyline unexpected. If you like spys and spooks of the CIA world, you will love her books. There can be tough characters and adventure,Traci avoids getting into the sex, drugs, and offensive language so many of today's authors and readers find necessary. The story is very believable and I didn't want it to end, just like I have found with her other titles... A winner in my book!
The second book that I have read in this series. As with Code Word, this is a well-written book but here comes some gentle criticism. Traci could use a little more technical help with her seals. She stays relatively true to the motivations of these true warriors but not technically realistic. This is the second book I have read in this series and the second time we have a hero who is both handsome, a naval officer and also well over six feet tall! Not only is he a seal, but he also stays combat qualified in F-14 fighters. Are all seals like this?? They (the seals) may want you to think so but this is not realistic enough. These two books are my intro to the "seal" series. I have been acquainted with some of the real ones and know that the "squads" are not made up entirely of tall, handsome officers. Still, this is a well-written and fast-paced book although I would have liked a little more action and a little less romance. Maybe it's because I'm a guy! I believe that most readers will really enjoy this book.
